I HAVE SET YOU

 I have set you to be a light for the gentiles so that you may bring salvation to the ends of the earth. When Paul and Barnabas saw this verse spoken by the prophet Isaiah, they saw as expression of the mission to which Christ had called them for. they took seriously the imperative to speak out among pe...ople they did not know, far from home, wherever they were. When they encountered rejection and criticism in one place, they sought other places with more eager listeners. We too must accept with joy the responsibility to speak the truth and to move beyond our comfortable places. We are to show our faith in God by our actions.
